Innovator Series
In 2023, UCSF Innovation Ventures and the UCSF Benioff Center for Microbiome Medicine launched an Innovator Series. This series features scientists from both industry and academia, sharing insights about their research and career journeys.
The series has created a space for discussing research innovation and aims to accelerate the translation of UCSF microbiome research into clinical impact and commercial opportunities. Link to recordings.
Public Lecture Series
In 2022, we hosted a six-part virtual public lecture series as part of the UCSF Osher Mini Medical School for the Public program. The series, titled The Human Microbiome - Exploring the Potential to Predict, Prevent and Treat Disease, included lectures by BCMM faculty and covered a range of topics, including early life microbiomes, diet, gut-brain axis, big data, skin health, and mood.
