Research Retreat
In June 2024, we hosted our first Research Retreat at the Asilomar Conference Grounds. The retreat featured research talks and posters from BCMM community members and a keynote lecture from KC Huang. View event page.
Annual Symposium
Our BCMM Annual Symposium brings together leaders in the field of human microbiome research to share the latest developments and foster collaboration.

Summer Internships for Bay Area Youth
In partnership with San Francisco's Opportunities for All program, we offer summer research internships for local youth interested in the human microbiome.
The Summer 2024 program hosted two undergraduate students, Addison (University of California - Davis; left) and Michaella (University of Nevada - Las Vegas; right).
