Postdoc Positions | Hsiao Lab
The Hsiao lab has two Postdoctoral Fellow positions available for scientists interested in musculoskeletal basic/translational human research. The lab uses the skeletal system as a basis for understanding how hormonal and genetic factors affect human development and disease. We use a wide spectrum of approaches to develop a broader understanding of the biology underlying skeletal development, develop new models for studying disease pathology and how other organs interact with the skeleton, and devise novel therapeutic approaches.
Immunology Research Specialist | Benioff Center for Microbiome Medicine
We are recruting an Immunology Research Specialist to support two ongoing collaborative research studies. Come take a leading role on these projects while collaborating with the BCMM's technology hubs and other researchers at UCSF.
Research Specialist | Lynch Lab
The Lynch Lab is seeking researchers at any career level to conduct human microbiome research. Research studies in the lab primarily involve large-scale human studies incorporating analytical methods including sequencing (biomarker, shotgun metagenomics and transcriptomic sequencing) and liquid and gas chromatography/mass spectrometry approaches to analyze microbiota function. These efforts are coupled with in vitro and in vivo model systems and a strong focus on translational research.
